Club Breakfast run and MonksLeigh show.

Sunday dawned bright and sunny and the temperature was well up by the time we left the  Live and Let Live pub at 8.30 am. There was a fair turnout of bikes, the usual BSA’s and Triumph's a Jawa, Yamaha and the oldest being an unusual French Motoconfort. After a pleasant, scenic jaunt to Acton, a cheap and wholesome breakfast was had at Wally’s (very warm) café, from whence we proceeded to the show site, only a short distance away. By now it was an extremely hot, sunny day and we were lucky to be placed in an area in the shade of some trees, very close to the beer tent. (Great planning there - Pete!) Ed.
There was an impressive array of machinery in the show and a very nice Rudge display. Did you know that Rudge even made their own tents? ~ Yes of course you did!
All in all, a hot but enjoyable day was had by all.  - Curly.
