Presentation of the cheque on the 2nd September 2006.

The CCMCC charity event on the 22nd July 2006 raised a surprising £2000! better than we imagined so a big thanks to all those that made a contribution and those that bothered to collect sponsorship money - wasn't hard was it?
(For club members that didn't - your names have been put down under 'special duties for future events' and automatic volunteering applies)

The club would like to specially thank club members Peter Long and Arthur Frost for the effort and time they put in individually to make this event happen. Also to the members of MAG that marshalled the ride out, the landlord and staff of the Kings Arms for hosting the event and all those that helped in some way ~ thank you !

(The local newspapers were invited to this presentation but they deemed charity fund rising is of little importance!)
